Hi, I'm Matt, and I started ThreadTrail for my mom.

Kaye, a passionate quilter, asked me, her software engineer son, a question.

Could I build her a library to locate and catalog her downloaded quilt designs, so she could do more of what she loves with less friction?

Through meetings with my mom and other quilters, I built ThreadTrail, an app that creates a library for your downloaded design files—a fully customizable dashboard to clearly curate and search for designs you've already used and easily organize them for the next quilt in progress.

ThreadTrail was created to make the everyday work of finding and arranging designs feel a little more effortless.
